Tailored collection for men
H&M brings its tailored collection for men up to date with the addition of new suiting this season. Sharply defined chalk-stripe suits and crisp cotton shirts in pastel colours and block-striped silk ties. Colours range from light to dark and the finish is impeccable.
‘This spring we have put the perfect finishing touches to our garments. We are proud to speak of the men’s tailored collection and we are pleased to be able to offer our customers such high quality at such low prices’, says H&M’s head of design Margareta van den Bosch.
The early spring collection offers suits in black or grey wool with a distinct chalk stripe. For the milder weather, cotton and linen are introduced in blue, khaki and beige. The profile is slender and the suits continue to be single-breasted, with two or three buttons, narrow lapels and slits at the back.
Lilac and pink are the latest spring colours for shirts, which are plain, checked or striped. The silk ties come in block-stripe and floral patterns or with spots.
The collection also features knitwear, including fine wool in classic colours and seasonal shades such as cerise, beige and pale blue. Coats have a simple cut. The main accessories are belts and cuff-links.
David James of Manchester City football team models this spring’s collection in the catalogue, which unveils the latest looks and some interesting and amusing snippets of information about men’s tailoring.
