The Swedish Minister of Equality Visits H&M

Today Maria Arnholm, the Swedish Minister of Equality, visited H&M’s Head Office to learn more about our engagement within the area, on a local and global level.

We are glad that Maria Arnholm is interested in knowing more about how we at H&M work with equality and that she initiated the meeting.

During the visit we talked about the importance of creating conditions that enable positive change where it is considered necessary, both for people working at H&M and also for the many garment workers employed at the factories where we buy our garments from.

H&M has more than 104 000 employees around the world. In order for us to attract and retain the right competence it is necessary for us to continue to work actively with equality, to further identify obstacles, possibilities and hands-on tools that will contribute to sustainable change.
