Monki x Mental health Europe

This May, Monki will reveal their second collaboration together with Mental Health Europe. Their first collaboration, titled ‘All the feels’, was an exploration of social media and its potential effects on young people’s health.

Now, the Swedish brand aims to explore the topic of mental health and its impact on daily life, by encouraging these important discussions to continue and evolve.

Mental Health Europe is a non-governmental organisation that works as a networking group within Europe. They’re committed to the promotion of positive health and they work closely with their large network to help end mental health stigma. They also provide contacts for anyone who needs more help.

“Empowering young women is at the core of everything we do at Monki. We are very proud to continue our collaboration with Mental Health Europe, and hope to encourage our community to express themselves and their feelings without fear”. Says Jennie Dahlin Hansson, Managing Director, Monki.

With the support and expertise of Mental Health Europe, Monki has created three short films, each based on a different emotion; feeling happy, feeling sad and feeling everything, all at once. The films aim to show that all feelings are valid and OK, and will direct viewers to a list of practical tips aimed at improving mental well-being.

The campaign is accompanied by the release of four limited edition t-shirts. Featuring two different prints, with the statements; ‘Embrace your feels’ and a longer manifesto in support of self-care and zero stigma conversations. The collab will be available in all Monki stores worldwide and online from mid-May.
