On 17 September, H&M unveiled its most elevated A/W 2026 collections at an immersive LFW event. Fakemink, Grace van Patten, Jackson White, Audrey Nuna, Diya Joukani and Manu Ríos sat front row as the three cinematic drops of H&M’s Autumn 26 collection, and pieces from the H&M Studio and H&M Atelier lines, were revealed.

H&M teams with Nick Knight and SHOWstudio on a visually experimental London Fashion Week show, soundtracked by Labrinth, and starring Alex Consani, Archie Renaux, and attended by Myha’la, Tems and Cruz Beckham

The show was opened by the Brazilian ballerina Ingrid Silva, whose movements were choreographed to activate and illuminate the space – an impressive runway measuring 40 metres long and 2,5 metres wide. The moment was followed by the arrival of the opening look, a cropped ivory jacquard jacket layered over a sheer lace blouse paired with slim white trousers and cream jacquard heels’, worn by Alex Consani, from the romantic first drop of H&M’s Autumn 26 womenswear collection: an ode to historical opulence.
The event – titled H&M&YOU&I – was creatively directed by the legendary British image-maker Nick Knight CBE, who, through his online platform SHOWstudio, is known for his use of technology to reconceptualise fashion communication and the runway show format. At H&M’s show, Knight expanded that legacy, uniting influences from across the arts to create an emotional, human experience exploring how human connection and artistic expression converge with fashion and technology.
This show is a celebration of creativity, and of human relationships. I wanted to create something that felt romantic, emotional, human and painterly, all while experimenting with new technologies. My mission throughout my career has been to push the boundaries of fashion and stay curious about the next thing. I’m excited that H&M shares that vision.
Nick Knight, Founder and Director SHOWstudio
Following the opening act, the show progressed with models including Angelina Kendall, Paloma Elsesser, Calum Harper, Karen Elson and Lila Moss. The cast showcased the third drop of the womenswear collection – an ode to the collector’s spirit – and the elevated cuts of the menswear H&M Atelier line. The sharp silhouettes and sculptural forms of the second drop of the womenswear collection offered a fresh vision of contemporary minimalism, enhanced by innovative use of lights, carried by the models themselves.
Anchored in the themes of human relationships and technology, the show unveiled a fashion interactive developed for H&M by SHOWstudio, under the direction of Knight. Using imagery created by Knight with models Alex Consani and actor Archie Renaux during the Spring of 2026, the fashion interactive offers a way to engage with and participate in fashion imagery, merging the physical world with the digital to generate fashion films in real time. The interactive created a blurring of physical and digital, past, present and future, accented further by the runway itself – curved mirrors on one side, a video installation created by by the Tokyo-born artist and engineer Karyn Nakamura, on the other.
During the presentation of H&M’s Studio collection, proposing strong lines and the power of tailoring, Knight’s interactive activated to showcase images generated from fashion illustrations by artist Cliff Warner. The models interacted with the illustrations behind them, choreographing their visuals’ movements and poses as they walked.
The A/W 26 collections are all about eclecticism. Each drop brings a vision of fashion that is bold, and dedicated to self-expression, freedom and rule-breaking. Nick Knight is always daring, he never accepts the status quo, and that is an ethos that chimes with all of us at H&M.
Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M Creative Advisor and Head of Design Womenswear
The show’s music was masterminded and produced by Labrinth, adding to the multi-facetted experience of the show, and culminating in a surprise performance of I Want to Know What Love Is (originally by Foreigner) live on the runway. The performance was preceded by Alex Consani and Archie Renaux, who gave a moving spoken word performance, repurposing the song’s lyrics as a script to pay a final homage to the show’s theme of human connection. Consani wore ruffled cream gown, while Renaux wore a full look from the H&M Atelier collection.
Working on this show with H&M and Nick and seeing the interactive develop has been amazing. From that first day in the studio, through all the digital meetings, I have seen it change and develop, right up until rehearsals, and today on the runway. I loved doing my reading with Archie, what a moment.
Alex Consani
I’ve worked with H&M before but never on something so unique and creative. And in London, my hometown, something close to my heart. The music embraced freedom and creativity, inviting the crowd to explore different moods and eras.

Watching the show amongst the 700 guests, and VIPs, were various members of the public, who applied for tickets via H&M’s social media platforms: part of H&M’s continued mission to open access to inspiring fashion for all. Viewers could also tune into H&M’s live-streamed pre-show content, hosted by Marlon Lundgren Garcia, Leomie Anderson and Julia Hobbs on the red carpet and backstage, right until the moment the show began. Later, guests mingled at H&M’s afterparty, featuring a special set by Kim Petras b2b with u.r.trax, and DJs and performances by Foundation.FM’s community including Lexii, Matty Chiabi, Lagoon and Crystal Waters.
