H&M Group is donating €1,5 million in response to the increasing humanitarian needs in Ukraine. The donation will be split between UNHCR and UNICEF who will each receive €750,000. Both organisations are long-standing partners of the company.

Donations in support of the people in Ukraine
H&M Group stands with all the people who are suffering and joins all those around the world who are calling for peace.
The donation will support the work of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, in the areas of protection, shelter, basic needs and provisions of core relief items, as well as cash assistance.
The donation to UNICEF will, amongst other things, be used for clean water, medicines, hygiene kits, clothes, blankets, and psychosocial support.
In addition, the Erling-Persson Foundation, formed in memory of the founder of H&M Group Erling Persson, has also announced that it will grant SEK150 million to support humanitarian relief in Ukraine and support for refugees. You can read the Erling-Persson Foundation’s press release here.
