ARKET and Massproductions bring practicality and playfulness into the home
This collaboration with Massproductions is a natural development of the relationship that goes back to the beginning of ARKET. We share a mutual commitment to everyday beauty through designs that are made to last – both physically and aesthetically. I admire Massproductions’ amazing attention to detail in their designs, together with their deep knowledge of the production line, which gives their designs both precision and purpose.

Massproductions was founded in 2009 by Magnus Elebäck and Chris Martin, with a name that alludes to the beauty of efficient, sustainable and high-quality industrial production. The duo work closely with engineers and machine operators at their production facilities to ensure the integrity of their vision, down to every cut and bend.
It was an easy “yes” when ARKET invited us to collaborate. We are not only admirers and customers of ARKET stores and their products, but also neighbours on the island of Södermalm in central Stockholm. That made the project easier to manage, but probably also meant that we have similar values in terms of culture, design, and outlook on what a product should embody. No wonder then that we proudly present these five products as a truly symbiotic collaboration between ARKET and Massproductions.

The ARKET and Massproductions collection includes the Buffer Bookend and the award-winning Silo Wine Rack – two of Massproductions’ signature pieces – each offered in two different colourways, with the neon orange bookend and the bright blue wine rack exclusively developed for ARKET. The collection also presents the playful yet practical Universal Door Wedge, made entirely from rubber; a jacquard-woven wool blanket from Swedish mill Klippan featuring a motif of Massproductions’ first chair design; and a canvas logo tote bag.
