Weekday returns to Helsinki with a new store in REDI Shopping Centre
We are happy to announce that Weekday will open a new store in the REDI Shopping Centre, on Thursday September 20th.
The 620 sqm store in the new REDI Shopping Centre is an unconventional and inspiring space spread out over two floors. For this new location Weekday created an updated store experience, working with ultra-modern and unique elements to maintain the nerve and aesthetics of the brand within the shopping mall environment. With its light atmosphere and store-made studio, where weekly Zeitgeist products are printed, this is a store that REDI customers are sure to remember.
We are thrilled to return to Finland, and especially excited to open in the vibrant and stylish district of Kalasatama.
David Thörewik, Managing Director Weekday
“We feel the REDI Shopping Centre is a great match for our modern and youthful approach to fashion. We can already see through our online shop that Finnish customers really appreciate our brand experiences and seasonal collections, so we are happy to bring a physical store back to Finland,” David Thörewik adds.
To celebrate the Helsinki opening Weekday will host a party at Suvilahti, Tiivistämö on Saturday, September 15th with special performances and an exclusive Zeitgeist collab collection. The Zeitgeist collection, which will only be available during opening weekend, is made in collaboration with Helsinki’s most creative locals (director/photographer Viivi Huuska, make-up artist Miika Kemppainen, visual artist Liisa “Munalissu” Vääriskoski and DJ Farrél).
