Now it’s even easier to find the perfect jeans at H&M
Our new jeans concept &denim launched in autumn 2005, featuring everything from traditional five-pocket styles to the latest fashion jeans. The &denim collection can be found in its own display area within the store, and the whole range is updated each season. This spring will include several new washes and colours as well as some completely new styles.
‘The jeans collection is made up of both basic and seasonal styles. Many of our customers buy a new pair of jeans each season, and jeans are probably the item that most reflects the current trends. Our aim with &denim is to ensure that everyone – whatever their fashion requirements and style – is able to find exactly the jeans they need,’ says H&M’s Head of Design Margareta van den Bosch.
This spring H&M’s design team has honed the fit even more. Several new washes are being introduced, along with a number of brand new styles. Several jeans models have new wear effects and surface finishes as well as bright new colours on the seams.
Spring jeans and styling tips for girls:
- Really tight ‘spray-on’ jeans that work either under voluminous airy dresses or big shirts, worn with a draped jersey top and a pre-shrunk jacket or polo shirt.
- More classic jeans – bootcut or straight leg – styled with a club stripe tie worn as a belt and a white or striped men’s shirt.
- Capri jeans – with a navy striped top or T-shirt.
- Hotpants – great with a voluminous blouse or a classic fine-knit V-neck or jumper, or a suit-style jacket.
- Essential accessories include various belts, worn either on jeans or on a jumper, shirt or jacket. Other must-haves are sunglasses and long necklaces.
New spring jeans and styles for him:
- White T-shirt or vest under a tailored waistcoat worn with classic straight jeans, with a fairly narrow belt.
- Looser jeans that sit low on the hips work well with a granddad-style shirt and T-shirt, worn with a canvas or leather belt.
- Striped polo shirts or T-shirts look great with clamdigger-length jeans.
- Accessories include narrow belts in leather or canvas, flat caps and slim scarves.
