This summer, Monki will celebrate opening its sixth store in the UK – this time in Birmingham. Located in the city centre the new store will be a welcome addition for Monki’s ever growing UK fan base.
“Our UK base is growing rapidly thanks to all the positive love” says Lea Rytz Goldman, Managing Director for Monki. “We look forward to meeting Birmingham Monki fans and to offer them the full Monki experience.”
Since launching in 2006, Monki stores provide a unique experience on the high street by offering the customers a real-life step into the Monki World concept. The new 500m2 Birmingham retail space will continue to express the brands fondness of storytelling through its interior, from Sea of Scallops tables to rainbow inspired fitting rooms to disco cloud light fixtures, each detail inspired by something in the monkiverse.
With on-trend designs Monki’s eclectic collections are the pulse point where Scandi cool meets Asian street style. At the core of the Swedish fashion brand is its mission to empower young women everywhere to express and feel great about themselves. Monki is known for its diverse casting and creative campaigns, many of which highlight issues in focus for young women today.
The UK customers are an active part of the #monkistyle fanbase, an online community brought together by the hashtag #monkistyle. Here, customers are invited to share their personal style and with other Monki fans across the globe.
On opening day Birmingham customers will have a true Monki style experience, enjoying exclusive treats from start to finish. Special discounts will be on offer throughout the day to the soundtrack of great music and live DJs.
