Taiwan, let’s celebrate
Abuzz with excited conversations, the first H&M flagship store in Taiwan is now well and truly launched! Unlike anything Taiwan has ever seen before, the ultimate fashion destination unveiled itself at 10am this morning to a line-up of over 1,200 enticed customers with back-to-back entertainments. Today, it marks a true celebration of fashion and quality at the best price to the taste makers of Taiwan.
Following the massive appreciation at the VIP party 2 days ago with Zhou Xun, Archie Kao, Rainie Yang, Ariel Lin and Annie Chen in attendance, countless not-to-be-missed surprises set the countdown clock at the grand opening day. Starting off are DJ spin-offs followed by an H&M employee-led choreographed performance that spurred the energy up high in the early morning. To add to the excitement, the first fashion trifecta in line was awarded with giant H&M gift cards of values ranging from $8,000NTD – $3,000NTD, while the first 2,000 customers in queue received a Chinese New Year tote bag with unique gifts inside. The doors threw opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony by Karl-Johan Persson, CEO at H&M, Magnus Olsson, H&M Country Manager of Greater China, Anna Rathsmann, H&M Regional Sales Manager of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, and Rick Chen, H&M Taiwan Store Manager.
“We have been drumming up for this very special day for quite a while, and this morning, it is absolutely overwhelming to see the fantastic response from our customers! We are determined to bring a unique fashion experience that will amaze customers in Taiwan. We hope the people will enjoy our quality designs from the 230 H&M in-house designers at the very best price, and hope that the H&M flagship store in Breeze Song Gao will be the new gleaming shopping destination in the city of Taipei,” says Magnus Olsson.
The H&M store in Taiwan welcomed the fashion crowd with the exclusive H&M 2015 Chinese New Year collection, as well as apparel, underwear and accessories for Men, Women, Kids and Babies, and the H&M Home concept. In celebration of bringing H&M to Taiwan, fashion fans will enjoy extended shopping hours on the opening day until midnight and from 10:00am to 11:00pm on Valentine’s Day. The store will then resume to its normal operation hours, opening from 11:00am to 9:30pm from Sunday to Wednesday, 11:00am to 10:00pm from Thursday to Saturday.
