ARKET to open first store in Latvia

The new store will be a modern-day market offering collections for men, women, children and the home, as well a Nordic-inspired café and speciality coffee shop.

We are very happy to announce the opening of our new Riga store and to finally welcome our Latvian customers to the full ARKET experience.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden, ARKET was launched in 2017 with the mission to simplify good choices and provide inspiration for a more beautiful everyday life. The brand’s design philosophy is rooted in the Nordic modernist movement of the 20th century, which aimed to bridge the worlds of arts, crafts, and functional form to produce affordable and accessible items. All its products are designed to be used and loved for a long time, leaving a lighter footprint and building style beyond the seasons.

In the new store, customers will also find the ARKET café, developed and lead by acclaimed Swedish chef Martin Berg. With the mission to promote natural flavours and healthy ingredients, the café offers a vegetarian menu, seasonal pastries, and organic speciality coffees from some of the world’s best growing regions.
