H&M in panel discussion at The Stockholm Free World Forum

On September 30th Helena Helmersson, Sustainability Manager at H&M, took part in a panel discussion regarding H&M’s role and its challenges in Bangladesh.

The discussion was arranged by The Stockholm Free World Forum. At the same time the report "Made in Bangladesh – textilindustrin som fattigdomsutrotare” by Henrik Sundbom was presented.

The report handles the important role of the textile industry for Bangladesh’s development and also deals with the fact that the industrialization of the country is an opportunity millions of young women to reach more freedom.

Magdalena Streijffert, Secretary General at Fairtrade also participated in the panel discussion.
