Earth Hour Saturday March 23rd 8.30-9.30 PM
For many years H&M has supported Earth Hour and we will also join this year.
Most of the lights in our stores and facilities are normally turned off on a Saturday evening, and will also be so during Earth Hour on Saturday March 23rd 8.30-9.30 PM (20.30-21.30). However, some lights still need to be lit during the evening for safety and technical reasons.
H&M works actively throughout the year in various ways to reduce our energy consumption, and we are working hard to save energy in our stores, offices and distribution centers. Read more about our sustainability efforts in our latest Sustainability Report; hm.com/consciousactions2012
We will also inform our staff that they can participate by switching off the lights at home for Earth Hour.
